This year, instead of having a classroom gift exchange, the fifth graders at Southern Boone opted to make a donation to Coyote Hill Children's Home!
The students participated in "Holiday Dollar Days", by donating a dollar each day. On Monday, a dollar got you free time during Intervention, Tuesday a snack, Wednesday spirit-wear , Thursday free recess, and Friday popcorn during the movie.
Our fifth graders are so AWESOME! They donated a total of
$740
to the children of Coyote Hill!
I am so proud to say that these kids have opened their hearts to giving and made Christmas a little brighter for those less fortunate!
