Scenes from Tom Sawyer

Students have been working hard to create their own interpretation of specific scenes from "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer", the story we read last week in class.

I wish I could say I gave specific instructions on what the students should do, but I didn't!  All the ideas, props, and dialogue were created by the kids.  They had a great time writing scripts, acting out the scenes, and editing film.

I'm really proud of the work that went into this fun project!

Scene 1:  Tom whitewashes a fence

Scene 2:  Tom meets Huck Finn and learns what "dead cats is for"

Scene 3:  Tom gets in trouble in class so that he can sit by his crush, Becky Thatcher
