Drove up to Hurricane Ridge and heard a presentation from the archeologist Dave. It's mind boggling to imagine the natives living here over 5,000 years ago. We have proof though! I even found a flake right there on the ground that was used for making tools.
We enjoyed a beautiful view during lunch; greeted by deer, birds and chipmunks as we dined on PBJ's.
What better way to spend time by the lake than to bbq with new friends? Yummy steaks, cold beer and a sunset beyond the mountains. It doesn't get any better than this!
Steph! What a wonderful opportunity! Thanks for making it so enjoyable to read about! Love your unique way of "seeing" things. Love ya, Aunt Mary.
