Yesterday we began working on one of my favorite projects: Creating a trading card for each of the five classes of vertebrates. Students are busy reseraching today! Each card includes the vertebrate name, the phylum (vertebrate) and the class (mammal, reptile, amphibian, fish, bird.), three body characteristics, and the habitat of the animal. On the front is a picture of the animal in its habitat. This is the fourth year I've done this project and I have to say that these are the best I've ever seen! This class if full of talented artists and I can't wait to look at their finished cards!
